    ZORO MOREIRA Co-Founder

    Zoro Moreira Jr. is a third degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt from Macae, Brazil, and has been training BJJ for 22 years. Zoro trains under Gordo Jiu Jitsu, and received his black belt from Carlos Gracie in 2005. His notable accomplishments in BJJ include 3 first place wins at Brazilian national level and 1 first place win at the IBJJF world championships in 2005 as a brown belt. Zoro has been teaching BJJ for 8 years, both in Brazil and Singapore. He is also a renowned Mixed Martial Artist, fighting in promotions such as ONE FC and Martial Combat, with a professional record of 8 wins and 3 losses. Besides MMA, Zoro is also an experienced Muay Thai fighter with a professional record of 5 wins and 0 losses.

  • Tanaphong Khunhankaew
    Tanaphong Khunhankaew

    Tanaphong Khunhankaew, or “Kru Ping” as he is better known as to FaMA students, started training Muay Thai 20 years ago. Coupled with a Masters Degree in Sports Science from Chiang Mai University and over 10 years of teaching experience both in Thailand and in Singapore, Kru Ping has had a hand in producing many world champions in the sport. Kru Ping was also made a Muay Thai ambassador by the government of Thailand where he conducted seminars in countries across the globe such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China and Mexico to name a few. Himself a Muay Thai fighter, he has a record of 115 win – 17 loss – 4 draw.


    Cheryl Loh is an instructor of the FaMA Fitness program. She has a Diploma in Sports and Wellness Management, and is also a certified Sports Singapore NCAP Coach. Cheryl’s main passion is fitness, and when she’s not leading the fitness classes at FaMA, she can be found training BJJ and jumping rope. A jump rope enthusiast, she started training at the age of 8 and began coaching at 15, and has also won several international jump rope tournaments, and participated in the Junior Olympic Games held in the States. Cheryl is also the first Singaporean female to participate in the internationally-recognised obstacle course competition, Sasuke Ninja Warrior, in 2015.


    Jerel is a FaMA fitness instructor and an assistant instructor in Muay Thai. He is a certified Strength Coach (NESTA) and a Muay Thai Instructor recognised by the Thai Ministry of Education. Jerel was honoured to be invited by his teacher Ajarn Somboon to demonstrate techniques in his book “Muay Thai Sport: The Procedures For Technical Practicing”.
    Jerel possesses a practical approach to training, which he gained from his time serving as a Police Officer in Melbourne, Australia. He is also a certified instructor in Kombatan Combatives and a Wrestling Federation of Singapore Technical Level 1 Coach. He cross trains in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and is a Blue Belt.

  • Robyn Goudy
    Robyn Goudy

    Robyn Goudy is a professor in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu who received his black belt from Master Joe Moreira. An American, from California, Professor Robyn has 22 years of experience in a variety of martial arts with a second degree black belt in Goju Kyokai Karate. He is also an extremely well rounded grappler who loves to teach No-Gi BJJ and has coached several professional MMA fighters.

  • Tomas G
    Tomas G

    Tomas G is the assistant BJJ instructor at FaMA. Originally from Sweden, he has been living in Singapore for the past 11 years. Tomas started training BJJ in 2006, and is a brown belt in the sport. An all-rounded martial artist, he trained boxing for many years before starting BJJ. He is also an avid rock climber and a ACE-Certified personal trainer.


    26 years old Kirstie Gannaway is a professional mixed martial artist with a record of 2 wins and no losses. The Singaporean-Australian has 11 years of boxing and Muay Thai experience, and 5 years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA experience. She is currently training at FaMA (Fitness and Martial Arts), and assists with the children’s classes too.

  • Stephen Procida
    Stephen Procida

    Stephen Procida is the assistant kids BJJ instructor and operations manager at FaMA. A blue belt in BJJ, Steve started training in 2014 and is an active competitor in the sport. He has participated in and won several tournaments around Asia, and has done FaMA proud on many occasions with his fighting spirit and team spirit.

  • Kinaree Adkins
    Kinaree Adkins

    Kinaree is a Kids BJJ Teaching Assistant at FaMA who started training BJJ in 2010. She is a NAGA World champion, a 3x Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu champion, a Gi and No-Gi COPA America National Grappling champion and a World Cup/U15 champion. She has also won bronze at the Ju-Jitsu World Championship/U18, medalled 2x in the PanAm Kids Championship and won many other big championships. Kinaree also won a Selection Trial in January 2017 to become a member of the Thai National Team, and earned her Orange belt in April 2016.

  • Natalie Tan
    Natalie Tan

    Natalie is a Kids BJJ Teaching Assistant at FaMA. She started training BJJ in 2014 to learn self-defence, but soon found her passion in martial arts’ competitive side of things. She has competed and won gold all over the world in many prestigious tournaments and is an Abu Dhabi World Youth Cup champion, an Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Tournament champion, an American Nationals champion, a Pan Pacific Kids champion and an Australian Jiu Jitsu Championship champion.
