Social Distancing Measures

On Monday, 23 March, we introduced several new measures to prevent local transmission of COVID-19 by practicing social distancing, a temporary class schedule, modifying the classes, limiting the numbers of students and suspending Kids Martial Arts classes. We have also frozen all memberships meaning all FaMA members will receive 14 days added to their membership and as an added service, can take any class from the Temporary Class Schedule for free.

As the current situation is ever-changing, we will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments whenever necessary but we will keep our doors open for as long as possible and will continue to add days to memberships if the situation continues.

Finally, We would like to thank everyone for their continued support during this difficult time. The health of our members and their loved ones is our top priority and we will continue to do our best to maintain everyone's safety.

Temporary Class Schedule

One of the most important social distancing measures we took was to introduce a Temporary Class Schedule so our members still had a place to safely exercise and maintain their fitness.

In their best interest, and in accordance with the Ministry of Education, we have suspended all Kids Martial Arts classes at this time.

Please note that we have added 15-minute windows between every class to ensure enough time for the mats to be cleaned and disinfected.

Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Muay Thai and FaMA Fit classes are still available to members with a focus on martial arts specific exercises, solo drills and physical conditioning. To effectively manage social distancing in the classes there will now be a limit of 9 members per class (+1 Instructor).

If you have not already, please click here to learn how to book your class online.
